Every day, in our dairy in Varana di Serramazzoni we produce 22 wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano also called “Product of mountain” because the dairy is located in Modena’s mountains. 12 wheels of them are Organic Parmigiano Reggiano too.
Nationwide, Emilia Romagna district is one of the first in the standings for what concern the organic field.
To produce Organic Parmigiano Reggiano, in addition to following the strict rules issued by the Consortium to keep the tradition and the high quality of our product, we must respect the procedures that prohibit to use GMOs in the food of our cows.
In our dairy in Varana of Serramazzoni, the milk used to produce Organic Parmigiano Reggiano is processed separately in each phase of the production process.
