Olfactory and gustatory senses are thoroughly but not excessively felt. Unlike the typical freshness featured by less aged cheese, stronger spicy and woody aromas are found in this 60 month-aged Parmigiano Reggiano, in an unparalleled variety of flavours.
How to taste it
It is perfect for all dining occasions. it can be tasted alone, as meditation food, or paired with special wines, such as passito with noble moulds or other Italian liqueur wines. The harmonious sequence of sapidity and roundness, will not stop until the very last piece of cheese is gone. Try it with aged spirits.
This type of cheese is also naturally lactose-free and highly digestible.
