Our happy dairy cows are healthy and productive.

We know that when dairy cows are treated kindly, they will gratefully make quality milk.

Shareholders of our cooperative are all passionate about their job and work as cattle breeders, farmers, entrepreneurs and workers at the same time.

Our Parmigiano Reggiano, with its unique flavour and organoleptic traits, is exclusively made with milk from our dairy cows: this is why we pay special attention to their nutrition. 

In order to obtain the quality milk that is processed into excellent Parmigiano Reggiano by the skilful hands of our cheese master, dairy cows are fed with fodder made up of hay by 50%, directly grown on the farm; also, a minimum of 75% of dried part of fodder must be farmed within the production area of Parmigiano Reggiano.

The land of origin, the fodder and the weather play a relevant part in the resulted milk which will turn into Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. (Protected Designation of Origin – P.D.O.): its rooted connection to this land makes our cheese unique and inimitable.

Milk from our farms is all processed into Parmigiano Reggiano and other dairy products such as butter and ricotta.

Dairy cows are milked twice a day: in the evening and in the morning. In compliance with the regulation of Parmigiano Reggiano, milk must be collected and delivered each time!
