4 Madonne dell'Emilia dairy
Our history starts long ago...
Our dairy was built in 1967 by a group of breeders. Since its inception, they were considered pioneers for the size of the projected, structural dimensions at that time.
The 4 Madonne dell'Emilia Dairy gets its name from a shrine pillar located at nearby Lesignana that depicts 4 madonnas on the 4 sides of his majesty.
The 4 Madonne dell'Emilia Dairy currently produces 75,000 Parmigiano Reggiano wheels per year altogether, has more than 30 employees and covers nearly 2% of the worldwide production of Parmigiano Reggiano.
Our wedges of Parmigiano Reggiano can be found in all of our stores:

4 Madonnas dell'Emilia Dairy and the environment
Here in 4 Madonnas dell’Emilia Dairy we care about the health of our planet.
In 2013 when we renovated our cheese factory in Lesignana – Modena we decided to install a photovoltaic system that allows the use of clean energy for at least 80% of our needs , thus reducing cO2 emissions.
